I grew up watching my mum declare things like, “I’m rich. I have more than enough,” whenever needs arose. When she was not feeling fine health-wise, I’d hear her say, “I’m healthy. I’m strong.” Over time, I watched those words turn into her reality. That’s where I learned the art of converting heavenly blessings into earthly realities.
Friend, you must learn to convert heaven’s blessings into earthly realities. As a believer, you are not from this world. You only live in it (John 17:16). Truly, “our citizenship is in heaven” (Philippians 3:20). If you miss this truth, your life will contradict the Word instead of confirming it.
Heaven gets concerned when a Christian’s life does not match what’s written about them in Christ. The truth is, we are “blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3). But why are many believers broke, sick, and defeated on earth? Let God be true, and let every contrary report be a lie (Romans 3:4).
The fact that these blessings are spiritual does not mean unreal or intangible. It means they exist in the spirit realm (Hebrews 11:3). They are as real as money in the bank, but they are housed in a different realm (2 Kings 6:15-17). The question is: how do you unlock, translate, and transfer them into your now?
Be spiritually-minded. A carnal mind cannot see or sustain spiritual realities, even if he’s a believer (Romans 8:6). That’s why Paul prayed, “that the eyes of your understanding being enlightened” (Ephesians 1:18). If you don’t see it in the spirit, you won’t walk in it on earth. Spiritual vision precedes practical provision.
Your words and your work are the converters of spiritual blessings. With your words, you call them forth (Mark 11:23). With your work, you create a vessel for them to manifest (Proverbs 22:29). If you don’t speak right or work right, you won’t live right or enjoy the abundant life in Christ.
