I had ministered from that part of scriptures the previous day. Then my wife and I logged on to a ministration online. A powerful man of God was ministering. Surprisingly, he taught from the exact scripture, with same explanations. My wife was so inspired by the “coincidence” that I had to confess to her that I had never listened to the message before then.
Friend, God is working in the global Church as well as individual members of the body. If you are connected to the head of the body, you would be in sync with other members of the body who are also connected, despite the difference in location. The same God is rich over all (Acts 10:34, Romans 2:11, 10:12).
No matter how great you are and how massive your work is, you can never be THE move of God. It is either the devil is speaking to you or your ignorance and pride. None of us is THE move of God, we are only privileged to be a part of God’s move. None of us is THE power of God, we are only blessed to be carriers and conduits of His power (Acts 8:9-13).
You need to deal with the spirit of pride if you would remain relevant with God in these last days. Nobody has a monopoly of the Holy Spirit. No ministry is the headquarters of God. God is wise enough to distribute Himself in and among men that no flesh should glory in His presence (1 Corinthians 1:29). No matter how big you are, you are just a minute part of the big body (1 Corinthians 12:14-20).
Knowing that you are only a part of God’s move would engender collaboration with other believers. There is something you have that others lack and there are a lot more things that you lack that others have. To live in isolation or false understanding of your worth is to shortchange yourself greatly (Romans 12:3). You need others as much as they need you, and ultimately, we all need God from whom all Grace flows (Ephesians 4:15-16).
No matter how seemingly inconsequential what you are doing is, if it is in line with what God is doing, you are doing a great work (Nehemiah 6:3). A lot of people have been intimidated by the great works out there that they have hidden their One Talent (Matthew 25:24-25). God is intentional with what He does in, with and through us all. Get inspired by what others are doing but don’t forget to occupy till He comes (Luke 19:13).
