If you have ever flown in an airplane, you would notice that the view is different up there. In fact, the higher you go, the clearer the view and the better the perspective. This is true for life and destiny too.
Friend, life is about positioning. Where you stand determines what you see, how you see and who sees you. Position determines perspective and enhances visibility. While some people can complain about the limitations imposed on them by their environments and circumstances, you can leverage wisdom principles from God’s word to break limits.
As year 2020 gradually wraps up, it is important that you maximize this season to prepare for the new year. The truth is, a lot of events have defined this outgoing year for people that, if care is not taken, they would enter the new year with old perspective and experiences. Don’t live by what people or circumstances around you are saying but what God is saying.
“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved” (Habakkuk 2:1). There is a place to stand to see what God is saying. If you don’t like what you are seeing or hearing, change where you are standing. For the prophet Habakkuk, it was the place of prayers and watching.
God is still visiting people with new visions and fresh perspectives this season. Perhaps, the year has been discouraging and demotivating due to all that has happened. You can change this narrative by gaining new heights in God. There is a superior sight to behold. It is called the invisible;”While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen…” (2 Corinthians 4:18).
The incoming year can be truly amazing for you. God can still right every wrong in your life. He can still restore lost hopes and opportunities (Job 42:12). He can still turn your captivity around (Psalms 126:1-6). This season, get into God’s presence, catch His vision and perspectives. Spend time in prayers, worship and meditation. Something GREAT is about to happen! Amen!
