I once heard the story of a famous American preacher who was relatively unknown yet powerful and anointed. It was when a senior minister gave him a slot on his TV program that people discovered the grace that he carried. He has remained a strong voice in ministry worldwide since then. He has met with his blesser and enjoyed the unforced rhythm of grace.
Friend, there is the unforced rhythm of grace. The truth is, every promise carrier needs a blesser. The promise talks about the intangible operations of God in your life. It can mean the words that God has spoken to you or the prophecies that have gone ahead of you (1 Timothy 1:18). It can also mean your potential and the possibilities that lie in your future. All of these are what define what and who you would become in life and destiny.
That you are destined for greatness does not mean that you would eventually be great (Genesis 12:1-3). The greatness of every man is at the mercy of the blessing and the blesser. A lot of people are carrying perpetual pregnancies and promises because they have not met with the blessing or the blesser. Like Joseph, until your certain man finds you, you may become a wanderer for life (Genesis 37:15).
God is the ultimate Blesser, but He uses people to bless people. For Abraham, it was Melchizedek (Genesis 14:17-20). For Joseph, it was a certain man and also one of the officers of Pharaoh (Genesis 37:15, 41:9-14). Your blesser may not necessarily be a man of God. It can be a boss at work who just takes a special interest in you. It can be a mentor in your field. It can also be a total stranger (Genesis 18:1-10, Isaiah 61:5, Hebrews 13:2).
One of the prayers you need to constantly pray is the miracle of divinely ordered steps. Unless God orders your step, you would miss out on critical moments in life and destiny (Psalms 37:23). Your time and chance are at the mercy of God ordering your steps (Psalms 37:23, 119:133, Ecclesiastes 9:11).
Destiny is not something you force to happen; you simply align with God and His working in your life (Jeremiah 10:23, Ephesians 1:11, 2:10). There is what I call the unforced rhythm of grace. You need to be a person of prayers and the word to enjoy this reality (Genesis 24:12-27, Psalms 119:133). You also need to be submitted to God and His will per time (Psalms 46:10). When you meet your blesser, you would need sensitivity and humility to connect (Hebrews 7:6-7). May you enjoy the unforced rhythm of grace today.
