Recently, I was working on my laptop computer. It was a very important document. Suddenly, I did not know what I pressed that the whole word document got wiped off. Immediately, I quickly used the UNDO keys. The whole stuff was restored. I sighed in relief. Then it dawned on me the importance of being able to undo.

Friend, have you ever wondered what life would have looked like if there’s no power to undo? I think this is the greatest miracle that God has made available for us in Christ Jesus; the power to undo. In fact, all that Christ came to do on the earth is to undo what the enemy has done (1 John 3:8).

With this understanding, you and I can undo the negatives in our lives and enjoy a beautiful life on earth. Yes, we can undo what the enemy has done in our past by cooperating with God. God can do more in your future than the devil has done in your past. With God, no case is closed. No life or destiny is damaged beyond repair. You have a winning chance with God (Micah 7:8).

Are there negative seeds you have unconsciously sowed in your past? You can undo them today. You can pray for crop failure over wrong seeds (Matthew 13:25). Not every seed is worthy of harvest. A knowledgeable farmer does not have to be at the mercy of the seeds. You can stop negative seeds from germinating. You can condemn every tongue that has risen against you in judgment (Isaiah 54:17).

Stop lamenting over a bad past. You can rise up from where you are and turn things around. The devil wants you to believe that nothing can be done again. But God wants you to pick up from where you are and right the wrong. I know you are neck-deep in debt, but you can turn things around by changing your financial habits. It may not happen immediately, but it would happen ultimately (2 Kings 4:1-7).

Leveraging God’s power through prayer is the greatest advantage you have in undoing what the devil has done. Like Jabez, don’t let your background put your back on the ground (1 Chronicles 4:9-10). Don’t let what your parents said or did in ignorance haunt you for life. You can rewrite your own story with God through prayers. You can still become a man of honour that you are destined to be (1 Chronicles 2:55). Will you rise up to pray?
