It was just a few days to their wedding. While speaking with the couple in counselling, they both remarked; “Pastor, it has been a stretch of our faith, but God has been faithful.” I encouraged them; “Master this now because the bulk of what you would face in marriage and life generally would depend largely on your faith.” I was preparing them for destiny.

Friend, the greatest need of a man with destiny is not money but faith. Faith is the currency of life and destiny (Hebrews 11:1-3). The poorest man in the universe is not the man without finance but the man without faith. Faith will produce finance and other things necessary to birth your destiny. When God gives you a vision, He also puts faith in your heart to birth that vision (Habakkuk 2:1-4).

One of the indicators that you are pursuing a divinely granted vision is the seed of faith in your heart to get onboard that vision (Luke 1:45). When faith is lacking, vision becomes an illusion. Your responsibility, therefore, is to develop your faith so that you can fulfil your destiny in a grand style. This is one major aspect of the pursuit of divine vision that many people often overlook.

If you don’t want God’s vision for your life to become a burden or daydream, develop your faith. The performance of God’s dream for your life is a direct consequence of your faith. God’s business is to perform; your business is to believe (Jeremiah 1:11-12). We are not performers. We are simply believers. We are not achievers. We are simply recievers (John 1:16).

God is faithful, and we must be Faith-full (1 Thessalonians 5:24). The faithfulness of God must trigger our own faith-fullness. The size of your destiny is determined by the size of your faith. The unlimited God is only limited by the capacity of your faith (Ephesians 3:20). When we go all the way with God believing what He has said or given us as visions, we enter into the realm of possibilities. Truly, all things are possible with God, and to him that believes (Matthew 19:26, Mark 9:23).

Faith is an equalizer. Faith in the living God will give you what money can(not) give others (James 2:5). Faith in the living God will balance lapses in your upbringing (Esther 2:5-15). Faith is your leverage. It will put you in the same class with those who look better placed in life. With God on your side and faith as your capital, there is no destiny project that you cannot execute (Hebrews 11:3). Work on your faith.
