A young man once received a small sum of money from his father before travelling for work. He could have spent it all at once, but instead, he divided it into three parts. One part he used to learn a skill, one part he kept for daily needs, and one part he planted in a small venture. Years later, that small venture had grown enough to support not just him but his entire family.

Friend, are you stewarding God’s resources responsibly? It begins with what you are doing with what is already in your hands (Matthew 25:14-30). God’s approach to finances is not just about receiving more. It is about making it wisely, managing it faithfully, and multiplying it responsibly.

Making money begins with purpose, not pressure (Proverbs 22:29). The temptation today is to chase quick gain or compare our pace with others. But lasting provision comes from diligence and integrity, not shortcuts. When you align your work with God’s calling, you invite His blessing into your effort (Deuteronomy 8:18).

Managing money requires discipline and wisdom (Proverbs 21:20). The issue is not always how little we have, but how we handle what we have. A person who cannot manage ₦10,000 will struggle with ₦1,000,000. When you manage well, you prove yourself trustworthy with more (Luke 16:10).

Multiplying money is about faithful planting and patience (Ecclesiastes 11:1). Money that only sits stagnates. God designed increases to come through sowing and investing. The widow’s jar of oil did not multiply until she began to pour it out (2 Kings 4:5-6). It’s the same with finances.

At the heart of it all, money is a tool, not a master (Matthew 6:24). It should serve you, not control you. When you make with purpose, manage with discipline, and multiply with faith, you position yourself to fulfil God’s plan for your life and to be a source of blessing to others (Genesis 12:2-3). Be a faithful steward today.
