Before now, my younger daughter often spent time looking for her school books when preparing for school. She would end up crying and feeling frustrated. I had to take time to teach her the need to organise her stuff so she won’t be stressed out looking for them. This is also true for life generally.

Friend, you either organise or agonise (Proverbs 6:6-11). Most of the pains that people face today are due to a lack of structure or order in their lives. Actually, pain is a blessing. It is a mechanism put in place by God to announce to us that something is not right somewhere. Without pain, people would keep living life as if all is well (Hosea 13:13).

Those who organise don’t agonise. Like my daughter, they won’t stress out looking for stuff or making progress in their lives (Ecclesiastes 10:15). They spend minimal time and resources to get things done. Lack of order and organisation lead to wastage of time, energy, resources, and sometimes life. What area of wastage do you need to block in your life (Proverbs 21:20)?

Without structure and order, resources won’t be enough (John 6:8-13). For most people, the problem is not their income. It is their outgo. The truth is, if you cannot track your outgo, you have given your finances wings to fly away without your permission (Proverbs 23:5). What you have is enough if you can plan and structure properly. Some people only make budget after the money has been spent. That is not budget. It is regret.

Order is the secret of multiplicaton. This was why Jesus commanded the men to sit down in groups before the miracle of multiplicaton (Luke 9:14-15). If you don’t organise your life, don’t expect God to show up for you miraculously. Don’t be haphazard in your career, business, and finance while believing God for breakthroughs.

We don’t wait until we are big before we organise. We actually organise to be big (Job 8:7). That your kiosk would soon become a shopping mall if you can learn to organise. That your small church would soon become a mega church if you put proper structure and order in place. Order begins from the mind. Those who grow big have the mindset of greatness, and they plan for it (Proverbs 23:7). What about you?
