The other day, I heard someone say that if you keep talking about your experience on campus, then it means you are not doing anything serious with your life now. While I understand the need to keep pushing for progress and excellence, I think this person missed an important truth; “Your experiences are not a waste on your journey of destiny.”
Friend, your experiences are not a waste on your journey of destiny (1 Samuel 17:32-37). If you don’t journal your experiences and lessons on your journey of destiny, you would end up living life by trial and error instead of living life by design. Your experiences are pointers to your destiny if well interpreted (Psalm 78:70-72).
Stop living life by trial and error. What has worked in your life before? What has God done for you before (Psalm 103:1-5)? When it comes to destiny, your experiences are not a waste. They are tools for advancement and fulfilment if you can interpret and maximize them correctly (2 Timothy 1:5, 3:15).
God wants you to live life by design. He wants you to understand the process (Psalm 66:10-12). It is the lesson in the blessing that makes the blessing to be perpetuatd. You are able to own your journey. You are not a stranger in your own future (Genesis 50:20).
Joseph knew all along that God was using all the experiences he went through to prepare him for the palace of his destiny (Genesis 41:14-16). This made him participate and partner intelligently with God in the journey of his destiny. He did not allow the training in his father’s house to be a waste. He did not give room for offences (Genesis 50:15-19).
What God has done in your life in the past is already a seed for what He would do in the future (1 Samuel 17:37). If He healed you before, He will heal you again. If He used you mightily on campus, He wants to use you mightily again after campus. God does not give you a taste of His goodness and blessings without bringing you into a state of it (Psalm 34:8).
