Someone asked a famous pastor in our country one day; “Sir, how do you raise money to do ministry?” His response supplied a timely insight; “I don’t raise money. I only raise people. Impact is what brings income.” I believe this is not only true for ministry, but also for life in general. Truly, impact is what brings income.

Friend, impact is what brings income. In this kingdom, we don’t pursue money. We pursue purpose and money pursues us (Psalm 23:1-6). Those who follow money eventually do not have it. If they do have it, it ends up destroying them (1 Timothy 6:6-11). Money is not a mystery. It is embedded in the biblical secret of enterprise development and value creation.

Prosperity teaching outside of covenant practice is a scam in disguise (Jude 1:11). All the patriarchs were wealthy, not just because they knew God, but because of their alignment and adherence to kingdom principles. Abraham traded with cattle and also had a large workforce. Isaac planted crops. Jacob worked for Laban. Joseph solved an economic problem (Genesis 13:2, 26:13, 30:27-30, 41:33-44).

Prophets are not magicians. As seers, they open us up to possibilities in our hands or our house (2 Kings 4:2-3). If the widow who came in contact with Elisha was not ready to build relationships and also engage in selling, her encounter with the prophet would have still not solved her problem. She needed to borrow vessels from her neighbours and sell the oil (2 Kings 4:7).

Rather than just praying for money. Pray for insights into wealth creation Engage diligently in adding value and making impact (Proverbs 29:13). Most times, God will answer your prayer for provisions by providing platforms or avenues to make an impact and add value. It is your responsibility to recognise and maximize such. Divine favour simply means divine access and opportunities. What you do with the favour is what brings income or finance (Ecclesiastes 9:11).

You are either a trader, a digger, or a beggar (Luke 16:1-3). Those who refuse to trade divine wisdom and maximize divine opportunities would end up digging or engaging in hard work. Those who fail to do both would end up begging. Begging is anti-covenant. The kingdom of God does not sponsor poverty. It eradicates it (Luke 4:18, 2 Corinthians 8:9). Receive divine insights to make impacts and generate income in Jesus name. Amen.
