Recently, I left home for an event; there was public power supply. But I predicted the supply won’t last long as it’s been available for a while. My daughter objected that supply would be off at a much later time, hours later. When I returned, the first thing she told me was; “Daddy, I told you the electricity supply would last longer. I am a prophet.” I just smiled and educated her briefly on the prophetic.

Friend, you need to understand prophetic flow. You need to be educated on the prophetic (1 Corinthians 12:1). The prophetic is a major tool that God has given the believer to navigate destiny, but very few people understand it (1 Corinthians 14:3). Even those who seem to understand have had it perverted due to wrong teaching or demonic intrusion. You need understanding.

The prophetic flow talks about the awakening of your spiritual senses to the things of God about your life, destiny, and all that concerns you (1 Corinthians 2:9-10). It is your privileged insight into the mind of God (1 Corinthians 2:16). The Holy Spirit has not been given for us to just speak in tongues. He is given to us to awaken us to the spiritual side of our lives (John 16:13). If you speak in tongues and you are still dull regarding spiritual things, you are only involved in gymnastics.

We pray in tongues, among other things, to heighten our sensitivity to the voice of God and the move of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:12-14). The prophetic flow talks about the bubbling forth, from the womb of your spirit, the mind of God as revealed by the Spirit. Your spirit, in koinonia with the Holy Spirit, knows the mind of God. You would need a prophetic flow in order to benefit from the mind of God as revealed in your spirit.

You can still be confused and stranded if you don’t know how to bring forth, by prophetic flow, the insights in your spirit. Most times, it is when your mouth says it that your mind captures it and your life benefits from it (1 Corinthians 12:13). This is why tongues plus interpretation equals prophecy. That interpretation is what you voice out in prayers as you stay sensitive to the Holy Spirit. You need to sometimes pause and listen to what you say while you pray. The answers are in your tongues (Isaiah 28:11).

Every child of God must be prophetic (Numbers 11:29). It is an abuse of redemption to be running from prophet to prophet seeking for answer (Romans 8:14-16). Lack of genuine salvation is a major blockage to the prophetic (1 Corinthians 2:14). If you are not baptised in the Holy Spirit, you cannot benefit from the prophetic flow (Joel 2:28). Worship, praying in tongues, prophetic relationships, etc., also help to awaken the prophetic in your life. The days we are in require everyone to be prophetic. Despise not prophesyings (1 Thessalonians 5:20). Amen!
