I remember when we tried lifting weights and checked our muscles after a day or two as children, only to be disappointed that nothing had changed. We didn’t realize growth happens daily, not overnight. The same is true about developing your spiritual muscles. It is not done in a day. It has to be daily.

Friend, you need to develop your prayer muscles. Building spiritual muscles requires daily commitment. Successful people do daily what others do occasionally – they prioritize consistency. What you become is shaped by your daily habits. You have to stay committed to daily life of progress.

Prayer is key to building spiritual strength; it’s a daily training essential for believers. Your prayer life determines your spiritual vitality – seven prayerless days make one weak! You wouldn’t visit a gym sporadically and expect results, so don’t pray only when you feel like it.

Building a glorious destiny means developing a daily prayer habit (Jude 1:20). Some build solid foundations through prayer, while others build fragile structures. The difference shows up later (Malachi 3:15-18). The result of prayer may not be immediate, but it would show, ultimately.

Prayer is an investment in your destiny. It has to be done daily. Physical exercise has benefits, but prayer secures your future (1 Timothy 4:7-8). Athletes see results from daily training; we’ll see greater results from daily prayer. As New Testament priests, we’re built into a spiritual house, offering sacrifices pleasing to God (1 Peter 2:5).

Commit to a daily life of prayers. No matter what happens, prayers must not be reduced but must be increased (Acts 6:4). Gists can reduce. Social media engagement can go down. Sleep, food, etc., can reduce. But not prayer. This is the time to go deeper, wider, higher, and faster in prayers. You will reap the benefits (Galatians 6:7-8).
