He noticed that majority of the folks that come to him for counselling were from other Churches. One day, he asked one of the counselees; “Who’s your pastor and where is your home Church?” Her response startled him. She said; “Sir, you know we are sheep; we have been told to look for where to graze and keep grazing around.”
Friend, something happens in Church that does not happen else where. There is always a rub off of God’s Grace upon us when we gather in Church (Psalms 84:7). Samuel moved from being a young ‘temple boy’ to a mighty prophet of God because of the influence of “Church” on his life (1 Samuel 3:1-4).
Anyone who can help you get to the right Church has helped your destiny a great deal (Psalms 55:14). No matter how great your destiny is, until you locate the right Church and stay planted there you would only have a truncated destiny (Psalms 92:13). If God has ordained a Church for you, there is something there that your destiny needs.
Your pastor determines your pasture, your Church family determines your realities in life. Don’t look down on your Pastor. Don’t see him or her in the flesh (2 Corinthians 5:16). You need to tap into a divine revelation of who he is to you.
One word from God through your God-ordained Pastor can end your years of struggle (1 Samuel 1:16-20). I know you can pray on your own, but a Spirit-filled and Spirit-led prayer from a God-ordained Pastor can do more in your life than 21 days of Fasting & Prayers on your own.
You are not wiser than God. There is a reason He puts the Church in place. Quit the ignorance. Quit the pride. Quit the hypocrisy. Let go of offences (Jude 1:16-19). Get to Church. God is waiting for you. Your word is waiting for you (Psalms 105:19-20). Destiny is at stake!
