One of the foremost tech giants in our world today was asked years ago; “Sir, how do you position yourself for the future?” His response revealed his mindset; “I don’t try to position myself for the future, I create the future, and others come to join me there.” This is how to be the future.

Friend, be the future. Stop waiting for things to happen. Make things happen (2 Kings 7:1-10). Stop being reactive; be proactive. Stop blaming God, Church, government, and people for your problem. Rise up and take responsibility for your desired future. Until you take chances, you may never have a chance in life (Ecclesiastes 9:11-12).

The future is not something you wait for. It is something you work for (1 Corinthians 15:9-10). You have got to create the future. God gave us His word so we can create our world (Hebrews 11:3). A truly bankrupt person is a word bankrupt person. With the word of God, you can move from being a wanderer to becoming a wonder (Psalms 71:7).

There is no career, calling, or business that cannot take you to the top. Rather than looking down on your calling while envying others, why not take responsibility for where you are (SoS 1:6). The grass only appears greener on the other side because there is someone working that grass. If you take time to work your own grass, you will soon become the envy of others (Genesis 26:12-14).

Creating your future takes time. But it is better to invest into today than to be expecting a miracle out of the blues tomorrow.
Also, remember that the future does not belong to the man doing it quick, but to the man doing it right. Doing it right may make you look slow, but it is better to be slow and safe than to be fast and fail (Philippians 3:10-14).

Your future is in the opportunities that you have today. To be the future is to maximize today’s opportunities for tomorrow’s possibilities. Scarcity is proof of blindness (Genesis 21:19). To be poor means to Pass Over Opportunities Repeatedly. Opportunities are often dressed in the overall called problem. When you run away from problems, you ruin your future without knowing (1 Samuel 17:48). Be the future.
