I heard a statement from a man of God recently. According to him; “If you see me do big things. It is because I grew up in a church family where doing big stuff is normal. I simply followed what I had grown to know. It is part of my inheritance.” That statement reminded me of the power of inheritance.

Friend, you need to understand the power of inheritance (Acts 20:32). There are things you work for, and there are things you walk into. There are things you work for, and there are things that work for you. What is working for you is more important than what you work for (Romans 8:28). If you don’t have what is working for you, what you work for may not work.

If everything about you can be explained naturally, then you are not living the supernatural life (John 3:7-8). The Christian life is a supernatural life. It has an element of mystery. This mystery comes via the invisible force of the kingdom that is working for you. It is the donation of the life of God and the power of the kingdom into your life (2 Peter 1:1-4).

Inheritance is a family matter (Psalms 68:6). Just like you cannot claim the inheritance of a family that you are not a part of, you cannot partake of the inheritance of the kingdom without being a part of the kingdom (John 3:3-5). Salvation is your ticket into entering the inheritance in the kingdom. We are joint heirs with Christ because we share the inheritance with Christ (Romans 8:17). We have what God has. We have what Christ has.

You also need to understand that the church is a family. The kind of church you attend will determine the inheritance that you walk in (Psalms 92:13). If you church wrongly, you would end up looking for inheritance where God has not packaged it for you. This is why you don’t go to a church because your friends are going there. You go because God has a portion for you there (Nehemiah 2:20).

The most important things in life are obtained by inheritance (Psalms 44:3). When you understand the power of inheritance, you would stop struggling. You would simply align yourself with the house of God and the man of God that God has assigned you in destiny (Deuteronomy 34:9). Identify what your inheritances are and consciously position yourself for them.
