I was privileged to be a member of the Bible study unit in my early days on campus. While distributing teachings for a particular semester, my unit coordinator told me to teach on “Solid Food.” The topic looked so unusual that it took me on a journey of deep study of God’s word. I came back with a really solid food that was a huge blessing to everyone. That message has not left me to date.

Friend, you need solid food (Hebrews 5:14). The truth is, you cannot grow better than your feeding. This is why God promised to give us pastors who would feed us with knowledge and understanding (Jeremiah 3:15). God saw the need for correct and constant feeding of His people that He gave them pastors who would feed them accordingly.

Just like in the physical, when you are not feeding right, you would be open to sickness and deformation. Your formation is what determines your manifestation. While some are uninformed, others are misinformed, and some deformed. Don’t be deformed in destiny.

Beware of strange doctrines. The right teaching of God’s word positions you for safety and stability in destiny (Hebrews 13:9). What you feed on must be what builds and stabilizes you in life and destiny. We must not be carried away with pseudo feeding that would render us weak in destiny.

The feeding of a New Testament saint must be the word of His Grace (Acts 20:32). It must be teachings that strengthen our faith in the finished work of Christ and empower us to live the life. It must not be the kind that brings you into bondage, making you a slave to sin (Galatians 3:1-5, 5:1). It is the word of His grace that builds us and ushers us into our inheritance in life and destiny.

This season, be careful what you hear and how you hear (Mark 4:24, Luke 8:18). Faith and fear both come by hearing (Isaiah 8:12, Romans 10:17). Choose to hear the right things. Grace-filled words produce the right kind of faith for kingdom results. Get under teaching ministries that expose you to Truth, not junks or fables. When you take care of your feeding, your living will take care of itself. Amen.
