We were driving on the highway one day when a military officer stopped us at a checkpoint. After leaving, my wife commented, “He’s such a young officer.” I replied, “He might be young, but the authority he carries is huge. We stopped, not because of him, but because of what he represents.”
Friend, you need to manifest kingdom authority. The devil responds to us, not because of our size, but because of our status. We belong to the Kingdom, and we have been placed far above principalities and powers (Ephesians 2:6). We are to rule and reign on earth.
The devil is no match for a saint with the right understanding. We don’t cast demons because we are ministers of the gospel, but because we are sons of the kingdom. These signs shall follow those who believe, not just those who are pastors or ministers of the gospel (Mark 16:17).
It is not enough to be born again. You need to be taught how to exercise your authority in Christ (2 Corinthians 2:11). What the devil takes advantage of is our ignorance. Knowledge is what helps you to manifest kingdom authority (Psalms 82:5-7, Hosea 4:6, John 8:31-32).
Learn to unmask the devil. The Bible never said that the devil is a lion. It says he’s LIKE a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8). The devil is only a clown, and it’s children that run away from a clown. When you grow, you will not run away from the devil. You would rather run him out of your life and affairs.
To cast out devils is to order out devils (Mark 16:17). We are supposed to run the devil out of our affairs. We are to exercise the authority of the kingdom to dominate our spheres (Hebrews 11:32-34). Assure yourself today that the greater one lives inside of you. You are an overcomer, anytime, any day (1 John 4:4)!
