A man of God had a vision to build a school with a million dollars. One day, after God challenged him to think about his strategy and timeline, he decided to share his vision publicly in church. Before he even finished speaking, a man approached him and promised to provide the million dollars needed, provided he was serious about his dream. He received the money the next day.

Friend, you need to learn how to move from dreams to reality (Habakkuk 2:1-4). Someone has rightly said that the richest place in the universe is the graveyard because inside the graveyard are intentions that never became actions; books that were never written, buildings that were never built, and companies that were never founded (Acts 26:19).

An average human being goes to his grave with a major part of what he could have done with his life (Acts 13:36). Some even go there with everything God wanted them to do with their lives. They enriched the graveyard rather than enrich their world. They die full rather than die empty (2 Timothy 1:6). They die with the rich deposit of God’s grace on them.

Make up your mind to die empty. Make up your mind to release all that God has packaged inside you for your generation (Luke 12:49-50). Write the books you are to write. Release the songs that heaven gave you for your generation. Start the church or ministry God sent you here to start. Float that business or company that will enrich lives and make our world better (Luke 5:4-6).

The way to live full is to die empty. It was not a compliment that Elisha’s bones raised a dead man (2 Kings 13:21). There was no other person in scriptures with that testimony. I believe Elisha didn’t die empty. He went to the grave with the anointing that could have emptied on his servants and his generation (2 Kings 5:25-27).

What is keeping you from fulfilling your God-given dreams (Hebrews 11:1-3)? Is it money, fear, doubt, weakness, etc.? Take a bold step and trust God to do the rest. Like the man in our opening story, do beyond rehearsing your dreams, take action. Voice it. Make moves. Take baby steps that God would amplify (2 Kings 7:1-7). Nothing is as powerful as an idea whose time has come.
