We were to install a door recently. Before installation, I attempted to lift the door, but I realised it was heavy. But after installation, I was surprised to see such a heavy door swing open and close with ease. I discovered that the hinges played a vital role. Then I concluded that just as little hinges swing huge doors, relationships are leverage for achieving results with ease.

Friend, just as little hinges swing huge doors, relationships are leverage for achieving results with ease (Ecclesiastes 4:9). You need to leverage relationships. If you don’t know how to manage relationships, you would struggle in life (Judges 18:28).

If God wants to help a man, He would send the right people his way. But if the devil wants to destroy a man, he would send the wrong people his way (Psalm 1:1-3). You need to pray for the right relationships. You are as strong, wise, and wealthy as the people in your network (Proverbs 27:17).

Relationships are not only for companionship. They are also for complementation (Genesis 13:5). We don’t just choose relationships for fun. We choose for effectiveness. It’s not just about who vibes with us. It is about who contributes to our visions and goals in life. Highly effective people have learnt to connect with those who complement them (Proverbs 13:20).

Relationships succeed to the extent that they are symbiotic in nature. Nobody wants a parasite around them (Genesis 30:27). People love those whose presence in their lives is a blessing and not a burden. When you make up your mind to be a blessing to people, no matter how small, you would succeed at building and managing relationships (Ephesians 4:28).

Ignorance and arrogance often hinder people from leveraging relationships (Ecclesiastes 10:15). Ignorance and arrogance can make you ignore people who can help you. Don’t refuse to ask for help when and where necessary. Asking for help does not mean you are weak. It actually means you are wise (John 5:7). There is no self-made person anywhere!
