A man of God was praying for his church members one day when his heart went straight to a particular member. As he prayed and asked God about him, the response he got shook him; “You see this one, even if I partner with him, he would still fail.” The man of God became troubled and decided to probe deeper.

Friend, divine assistance is real. It is the game changer in life and destiny (Acts 26:22). Nobody can become what God ordained for them without the assistance of God. But how does God assist? Who does God assist? How do you enjoy divine assistance? Just as there are divinely assisted men, there are also demonically resisted men (Zechariah 3:1).

Divine assistance is the secret to ease and speed (Genesis 27:20). Anytime difficult things are easy for a man, just know that this person is being assisted by a higher power. When easy things are difficult for a man, there is a demonic resistance going on somewhere. God does not plan that you do life alone. He does not want your results and outcomes to only be the best of your efforts (1 Corinthians 15:10).

One of the reasons people do not enjoy divine assistance is their failure to humble themselves before God (1 Peter 5:5-6). Whereas humility attracts God to a man, pride will always bring a distance between you and God. God resists the proud, but He assists the humble (Psalm 138:6). The proof of humility is total dependence on God.

When God comes into a man’s life and affairs, the first thing He introduces to that man’s life is order (Genesis 1:2-3, 1 Corinthians 14:40). Nothing tangible can be achieved in a life or a place without the right order being established. When you bring order into your life, you enjoy divine assistance. God needs order to operate in your life. The devil needs disorder to operate in your life (James 3:16).

Like the man in our opening story, some people make it extremely difficult for God to help them (2 Kings 5:10-14). Their attitude and posture are completely against the protocol of divine operation. They talk anyhow, spend anyhow, and behave anyhow. They sustain habits that constantly sabotage the grace of God in their lives (SoS 2:15). What about you?
