The young man was unreachable for months. I got bothered. All attempts to get through to him proved abortive. Months later, he called. He told me how he deliberately changed his phone line to avoid communication. Unfortunately, he made some decisions while in isolation that he greatly regretted.

Friend, don’t slip into loneliness. You will need to fight satanic isolation if you hope to fulfil your God-given destiny. You have been created as a relational being; you are meant to function in community, not isolation. You need to fight isolation and disconnection from critical relationships (Judges 18:28).

Understand that destiny is personal but not private. The language of the Bible is always the language of relationships. It is interdependence, not independence (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12). Jesus taught on the power of agreement. He also sent out his disciples two by two (Matthew 18:19, Luke 10:1). The marriage covenant rests on the power of relationships (Genesis 2:18).

Don’t slip into loneliness. Avoid depression (Genesis 2:18, Psalms 68:6). Differentiate between separation and disconnection. God separated Abraham from Lot while the devil disconnected Lot from Abraham (Genesis 13:1-18). God always separates you for destiny, but the devil wants to disconnect you from destiny.

If you want to go fast in life, go alone. If you want to go far, go with the right people. There are people of your destiny that you must connect with if you would finish well and strong. They are your tag team. The moment you separate yourself from them, you become open to satanic assaults (Judges 18:28).

There are numerous blessings of destiny connections; safety, correction, synergy, strength, encouragement, etc. There are no defensive weapons in the Christian armour; we are to cover each other (Ephesians 6:10-17). What killed Uriah was not the forefront of the hottest battle but the fact that valiant men withdrew from him (2 Samuel 11:15). Don’t slip into loneliness. Amen.
