There’s this funny story about a brother who went to propose marriage to a lady. After reeling out all the powerful stuff that God told Him and the revelation he saw concerning the lady and the marriage, the lady asked a simple question that sort of confused the passionate young man. She said; “Bro, I know God has spoken, but what are you saying?”

Friend, until what God has said becomes what you are saying, nobody would listen to you, not even the devil (Hebrews 13:5-6). Life responds fast and favourably to men of conviction, not just men of vision. Until your divine vision becomes your personal conviction, you would remain stuck and confused in life (Acts 26:19). Until divine revelation becomes your personal confession, you will not win in life.

The power of God’s word is not in the mouth of God. It is in your mouth as a believer (Psalms 91:2). The reason God speaks to us is so that we can speak to men, the devil, and situations. A lot of people have powerful encounters and revelations but weak conviction and confession. No wonder they have little or no impact. Learn to put God’s word in your mouth so you can have the power of God in your life (Isaiah 54:17).

Like that smart lady asked the passionate young man, life will ask you what you are saying. The devil will ask you what you are saying. God will also ask you what you are saying (Job 22:28-29). Most times, we take matters to God in complaints, but God often responds by asking us what we are saying. When you ask God to do something, He would ask what you want to do about it (Matthew 17:14-17).

If you refuse to say something or do something about your life and situations, God will just be looking at you (Ephesians 1:3). Why? Because He has given you His word and His Spirit. He has invested Himself in you so much that He believes you can do something (Philemon 1:6). When you think that you are waiting for God, He is actually the one waiting for you.

The genius of a Christian is the ability to convert spiritual communication and investment into material or tangible form that is relatable to life and situations (2 Peter 1:3-10). A lot of Christians are powerfully weak. They are wise, yet foolish. They carry God yet live like mere men (Psalms 82:5-7). They say nothing, do nothing, and become nothing despite the fact that they have everything in God. Is that you?
