In those days in primary school, when we receive our report card after each session, the first place you want to check is the remark section to know your performance. One of the statements that got people bothered is; “Promoted on trial.” You cannot say you are happy or sad. You have been promoted, though, on trial. Later in life, I learnt that God does not promote people on trial.
Friend, God does not promote people on trial. Any lesson you fail to learn would come back to you later even though you may have wasted time and lost opportunities. Stop repeating classes in the school of destiny. You need to learn and live. You need to pass your lessons with God in time and one time (Galatians 4:1-2).
If you don’t learn humility where God has placed you now, you would learn it later at a higher cost and with limited chance and tolerance (Philippians 2:8). If you don’t learn how to manage money now, it would cost you some serious opportunities in God later in life (Luke 16:10-12). If you don’t learn how to behave sane around the opposite sex now, you are only postponing your day of manifestation (1 Thessalonians 4:3-4, 1 Timothy 5:2).
You can be in Church for 10 years but have not learnt much under God (1 Timothy 3:15, 2 Timothy 3:14-17). It is not how old you are that counts but how you are responding to divine training and preparation. While Saul was messing up, David was warming up as hisreplacement (1 Samuel 16:1).
You need to see divine moulding and shapening in everything you are doing and everywhere you are per time (Jeremiah 18:1-6). What you are becoming under God is more important than what or who you currently are. You can be a student at the moment, but you are becoming a world class pastor, a kingdom business man or a visionary president of your nation.
You might be living with your Aunt as a young lady but you are becoming a wife right there by your response to the demands of that place. You can be a Sunday School teacher in your local Church but becoming a teacher to the body of Christ. Don’t complain through training. Don’t boycott process. See what God is doing; respond, don’t react.
