A man of God was praying for his members when his heart was drawn to one man. As he asked God about him, he got a shocking reply; “Even if I partner with this one, he will still fail.” The man of God was troubled and began to probe deeper to understand why.
Friend, you need to position yourself for divine help (Acts 26:22). No one can become all God ordained without God’s help. How does God assist? Who does He assist? How do you enjoy it? Just as there are divinely assisted men, there are also demonically resisted men (Zechariah 3:1).
Divine assistance is the secret of ease and speed in life (Genesis 27:20). When difficult things become easy for a man, a higher power is helping him. When easy things become difficult, there is demonic resistance somewhere. God never planned for you to do life alone or by mere human effort (1 Corinthians 15:10).
One reason people miss divine help is pride and failure to humble themselves (1 Peter 5:5-6). Humility attracts God to a man, while pride creates distance between you and God. God resists the proud, but He assists the humble (Psalm 138:6). True humility is shown by total dependence on God.
When God enters a man’s affairs, the first thing He brings is order (Genesis 1:2-3). Nothing tangible can be achieved without order being in place. If you embrace order, you enjoy divine assistance. God needs order to operate, but the devil needs disorder to operate in your life (James 3:16).
Like the man in our story, some people make it hard for God to help them (2 Kings 5:10-14). Their attitude is against divine protocol. They talk anyhow, spend anyhow, and live anyhow. They sustain habits that sabotage God’s grace in their lives (SoS 2:15). What about you?
