The other day, my younger daughter was deep in her homework. She looked up, saw her older sister relaxed, and blurted, “You don’t even have homework. That’s not fair.” The sister just smiled and said, “I do. I finished mine yesterday. Face your own assignment.”
Friend, you need to run your race. You need to face your assignment. (2 Corinthians 10:12). Peter made the mistake of comparing his path with John, and Jesus had to correct him: mind your assignment. Your job is to identify God’s current emphasis for your life and run with it (John 21:21-22).
Don’t exit preparation because of someone’s manifestation. Jesus’ brothers pushed Him to show off publicly, but He replied, “My time is not yet” (John 7:6-8). Manifestation without preparation births pressure. Stay in your phase till God upgrades you (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
Destiny is not a rat race. You’re not competing with anyone. You’re completing what God assigned you. Stay in your lane and run your race (Joel 2:7-8). Run at God’s pace so you don’t lose your peace. Your safety is in your alignment with divine timing (Ecclesiastes 9:11).
You cannot pour from an empty cup. Don’t get distracted, minding other people’s assignments, while neglecting yours (Song of Solomon 1:6). Don’t loaf. Pay the price now so you can play later. The goal is to complete your course with time left to help others (2 Timothy 4:7-8).
If the devil cannot stop you. He would attempt to slow down you down or limit you. Don’t allow him (John 10:10). Samson’s eyes were taken out because he lost focus. There are still more territories to conquer and cover. Stop looking left and right. Run your race (2 Corinthians 10:13). You will succeed.
