A man was given gold, seeds, and a flame before a journey. He spent the gold, ignored the seeds, and let the flame die out. When the master returned, he had nothing to show but only gave excuses. This is how many live today. God gives us time, talent, and treasure. We either steward them or waste them.
Friend, your life is not yours to own. It is yours to manage. Everything you have is a trust from God (Luke 16:10-12). Stewardship is responsibility, not possession. One day, we will all give an account before the Lord (Romans 14:12). What will you give; results or excuses?
Time is the one asset you cannot recover (Ecclesiastes 3:1). You can earn back money. You cannot buy back yesterday. A faithful steward is intentional with each day (Ephesians 5:16). When you waste time, you waste life itself. Redeem the moment before it passes you by.
Your talent is not for show. It is for service to God and your generation. Don’t bury it because you think it’s too small (Matthew 25:25). Your treasure is the test of your heart. Honour the Lord with your first fruits, not with what is left after you spend (Proverbs 3:9).
Poor stewardship brings regret. Faithful stewardship brings reward (Matthew 25:21). Wasted time leaves emptiness. Buried talent brings frustration. Misused treasure brings lack (Proverbs 21:20). Stewardship is the bridge between where you are and where God is taking you.
Success is what you achieve for yourself. Stewardship is what God achieves through you (1 Peter 4:10). Steward your time with purpose. Steward your talent with excellence. Steward your treasure with honour, so you can hear God say, “Well done, good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:23).
