A young man was denied a UK visa twice. The third time, he got to the window, and the officer smiled, “Your documents are incomplete, but I like your attitude. Approved.” He walked out in 5 minutes. He whispered, “That wasn’t luck. That was favour.”

Friend, you need the currency of favour for life and destiny (Psalm 30:5). Favour is God backing you publicly. Labour is what you do. Favour is what God does with it. Nehemiah was just a cupbearer. Yet the king gave him letters, timber, and soldiers (Nehemiah 2:8). Favour turns small requests into royal decrees.

Favour is not automatic. It is attracted. Daniel was not favoured for being Jewish. He carried an excellent spirit. Kings promote solutions, not sentiment (Daniel 5:12). Excellence is your signature. Favour is God’s stamp (Proverbs 16:7).

How do you walk in favour daily? Start with honour (1 Samuel 2:30). Esther listened to Hegai and won the crown (Esther 2:15). Ruth honoured Naomi and married Boaz. Guard your integrity. Joseph refused Potiphar’s wife. He lost his coat but kept his favour (Genesis 39:4).

Ask boldly. Favour is not for timid people. Esther risked her life and entered the throne room. The sceptre was extended (Esther 4:16). Use favour to lift others. Joseph used his position to save nations. When God lifts you, look for who to lift (Genesis 45:7).

Expect favour daily (Proverbs 23:18). Stop saying “I don’t know anybody.” You know God, and He knows everybody. Don’t chase men. Carry favour. Walk in like someone is waiting to help you. God has planted people in places for you (Psalm 5:12). Check your excellence. Check your honour. Then expect calls you did not apply for.
