A man needed funds for his building project, and then a prophetic word came during a church service: “Tomorrow, you will find a trailer of sand on your site.” He almost doubted but believed still. The next day, a sand trailer broke down in front of his site, and the driver unloaded it there. God works in amazing ways.
Friend, God has countless ways to meet your needs. He sent ravens to feed Elijah and commanded a widow to help (1 Kings 17:4-10). He provided a ram for Abraham’s sacrifice and owns cattle on a thousand hills (Genesis 22:13, Psalms 50:10). He multiplied bread and fish and gave his disciples money to buy food (John 4:8, 6:11-12).
God cannot be limited or predicted (Ephesians 3:20). He often surprises us with His methods. Whatever He does, He wants to be recognized as the Owner, Provider, and Doer (Genesis 46:9-11). He wants to be the centre of it all – nothing and no one else.
God is all you need to have all your needs met (Philippians 4:19). It sounds narrow, but until you narrow your options to God alone, you are not ready for His best. Faith is not about options; it’s about God (Daniel 3:17-18). He is either Lord of all or not Lord at all.
Don’t dictate to God. Tell Him what you need, and let Him decide how. Ask for His blessings, not specific people or methods (Psalms 18:43). Don’t idolize people – God is a jealous God (Deuteronomy 4:24, 32:21). Stop looking unto the hills. Look unto God.
Always remind yourself that your help comes from the Lord, not people or things (Psalms 121:1-2). Distinguish between the Source and channels. God is our unchanging Source; humans are temporary channels (Jeremiah 2:13). He is the God of ways and means.
