A dear man of God in our nation once shared how they got their present Church facility. According to him, they had some millions in their account handy that helped them to grab the opportunity to purchase the property when it showed up. He considered the purchase a miracle but he emphasized the principle of savings that they leveraged.

Friend, God wants you to move from miracle mentality to principle driven living. WHAT GOD DOES IN YOUR LIFE BY MIRACLES, YOU PERPETUATE BY PRINCIPLES. Miracles are God’s sovereign intervention in your life beyond what your effort can accomplish. But living your life by depending only on miracles is living an irresponsible life in the Kingdom.

ANY FAITH THAT PUTS THE WHOLE RESPONSIBILITY ON GOD IS AN IRRESPONSIBLE FAITH. When the Israelites crossed from the wilderness to the promised land, manna ceased (Joshua 5:12). This is not because God was unfaithful. Rather, it was to expose them to another dimension of God’s faithfulness. THE FAITHFULNESS OF GOD THAT MAKES YOU GET RESULT FROM WORKING HIS PRINCIPLE IS ALSO FAITHFULNESS.

The ultimate principle that governs the earth and the kingdom is the principle of seed time and harvest (Genesis 8:22). Principle living is kingdom living (Matthew 13:11). Principle living is responsible living (Ephesians 4:28). Some people only appreciate the miracles that bring results to their lives while downplaying on the principles that bring results.

PRINCIPLES ARE PREDICTABLE, REPEATED AND DEPENDABLE. LIVING BY PRINCIPLES IS NOT FAITHLESSNESS. The proof of Faith is that you respect the principles behind the scriptures (Luke 18:1-8, Hebrews 11:6). Have you wondered why Jesus often used seeds to explain faith and kingdom life? We know that seeds operate by the principle of agriculture; they must be planted for them to bring harvest (Matthew 17:20, James 5:7).

GOD WILL NOT CHANGE YOUR LIFE WITHOUT YOUR PARTICIPATION. Some people only live their lives by divine intervention, but God wants us to live by divine participation. The Holy Spirit is not meant to do things for us; He is meant to do things with and through us (Mark 16:20, Philippians 2:12-13). WHEN MANNA CEASES, ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT GOD’S FAITHFULNESS NEVER CEASES BECAUSE HIS PRINCIPLES NEVER FAILS (Psalms 119:89).
