A young lady was heartbroken after being jilted by her fiancĂ©, a military officer. She trusted God and moved on. Later, she married a senior military officer. Ironically, her ex-fiancĂ© was deployed as an aide to her husband, serving them. God’s plan brought her healing, lifted her up, and exceeded her expectations.
Friend, there is the reality of supernatural lifting (Psalms 92:10). Always remind yourself that God is the lifter of men. When a man lifts you, he can only do so to the limit of his height and ability. But when God lifts you, it is unlimited lifting. What do you want? The lifting of man or the lifting of God (Psalms 3:2-3)?
God takes special interest in lifting the downtrodden. Anytime people mock or look down on you, just know that your lifting is near. Mockery attracts divine attention to a man (Mark 10:46-52). You must not take mockery personal. Rather, turn it to worship as you go before the Lord, who is the glory and lifter of your head.
Like Hannah said, God specialises in lifting the poor out of the dust and the beggar out of the dunghill (1 Samuel 2:8). He does this to bring glory to His name and to let men know that the pillars of the earth are His. Peninah never knew that the same woman she mocked with barrenness would not only give birth to six children but also to one of the greatest prophets of all time (1 Samuel 2:21, Psalms 113:9).
In the economy of greatness, the rejected ends up being the accepted. The fact that you were not invited to the coronation ceremony does not mean that you will still not be crowned as king (1 Samuel 16:11-13). Like Jephthah, those who call you a bastard would soon need your help in critical situations (Judges 11:1-11).
Supernatural lifting is for those who look to God as the glory and lifter of their heads (Habakkuk 3:17-19). They won’t be discouraged by the mockery of men. They won’t also depend on their skills or expertise. Rather, they would position themselves in humility of heart trusting His lifting grace (Psalms 147:6). May you enjoy supernatural lifting today! Amen!
