A gateman at a multinational organization noticed engineers struggling to fit a truck into a warehouse due to its height. Instead of letting them break the door, he suggested deflating the truck’s tires, which solved the problem. This creative solution impressed the company owner, who promptly promoted the gateman. This highlights the need to think outside the box.
Friend, you need to think outside the box (Psalms 92:5). There are a lot of problems out there in need of solutions. Life’s problems are your opportunity for promotion and prominence. You need to be a problem-solver. You need to think outside the box (Daniel 2:16-23). Rather than wandering or complaining that things are not working, pick up the challenge to make things work.
Like Albert Einsten stated; the significant problems we have cannot be solved at the same level of thinking with which we created them. You need to upgrade your thinking. If you don’t think, you won’t make progress beyond where you are now (Proverbs 23:7). Since we are made in the image of God, we need to be creative like God.
Learn to think creatively and constructively (Job 32:8). The truth is, everybody thinks. But not everybody thinks creatively. If you can worry, you can think. The same energy that you use to worry you can also use to think (Philippians 4:6-7). When you worry, you allow your minds to wander, or you allow Satan to inject unpleasant thoughts into your mind.
Creative thinking will help you to take charge of your thought life (Philippians 4:8). You won’t allow your mind to wander. You won’t allow the devil to mess up your mind with unpleasant thoughts. You would take God’s word and make it to dominate your life and thoughts (Joshua 1:8). You would think solution, possibilities, greatness, and destiny.
Relate with people who feed your mind with the right thoughts (Proverbs 13:20). Relate with those who stretch your mind. Like a rubber band, your mind, once stretched, does not return to its previous size. The size of your destiny is determined by the size of your mind (Ephesians 3:20). Let the word of God and the right atmospheres and relationships stretch your mind. Think outside the box.
