I had an experience at the Barbershop sometime ago; a new person handled my haircut. Before I could look into the mirror, he had cut off my moustache. I was not happy. I looked different. But it was just a matter of days, and my hair began to grow again.
Friend, in God’s kingdom, failure is not final. The redemptive work of Christ does not only cover our flaws while we were still sinners, it also made provisions for our flaws even while we are in Christ (Romans 5:8, 1 John 2:1-2). God’s saving arms are always waiting for you anytime you miss it.
Whereas the devil specializes in accusing us before our Father, Jesus is our advocate with the Father, and He ever lives to make intercession for us (Hebrews 7:25, 1 John 2:1). He would not allow the ultimate price He paid for us to be wasted. He would keep loving, seeking, and praying until we find our way back into God’s original plan and purpose for us (Luke 22:31-32).
God is not just the God of a second chance, He is the God of ANOTHER chance. Samson messed up despite the prophecies that had gone ahead of him (Judges 13:1-5). The Philistines that he was meant to fight turned him to an entertainer right in their camp! He was seduced and deceived by his exploits (Judges 16:25).
Samson’s hair began to grow again (Judges 16:22). God began to restore what he lost; his consecration and the commitment of Heaven to his destiny. It was recorded that he killed more people in his death than he did while alive (Judges 16:29-30). His kind of life or death is not to be desired, but his restoration is a lesson for us.
Your hair will grow again! I don’t know where you have missed it. I don’t know what has shaven off your consecration and anointing. I don’t know where you have lost the substance of Grace. Your hair will grow again! You might have blown several chances in life; God is a God of another chance. Retrace your steps and run to His saving arms (Luke 15:17-20). Your best days are here. Amen!
