When she shared her story that day, you would not have believed that she went through such experiences in life. She literally blew it but God brought His beauty out of her mess. From her, I learnt that God is not just the God of a second chance but the God of another chance.

Friend, contrary to what you may have heard, with God, you have more than a winning chance. GOD IS NOT JUST THE GOD OF A SECOND CHANCE; HE IS THE GOD OF ANOTHER CHANCE. No matter who you are. No matter what you have done. No matter how many times you have blown it. You have got a fighting chance and a winning chance with God. You can always have a return to Him (Luke 15:17-18)

“I will arise and go to my father…” (Luke 15:18). THE WILL TO ARISE AND GO BACK TO GOD IS WHAT OFTEN SEPARATES THOSE WHO GET MIRACLES OUT OF THEIR MISTAKES AND THOSE WHO ARE MARRED BY THEIR MISTAKES. What destroys people’s destiny is not their mistakes but their response to the same. While Peter went back to God for forgiveness, Judas decided to hang himself; two people with similar experiences but different responses (Matthew 26:75, 27:5).

How have you responded and how are you responding to your mistakes in life (Psalms 51:6-8)? DO YOU ALLOW THEM TO OVERWHELM AND OVERCOME YOU OR DO YOU TURN THEM OVER TO GOD? No doubt, mistakes are disappointing. We feel bad that we did what we did. But the truth is, we all have made mistakes one time or the other and we would still make some before our exit here on earth. BUT WHAT WE DO WITH THEM IS WHAT MATTERS.

“Rejoice not against me, O my enemy: when I fall, I shall arise…” (Micah 7:8). IN LIFE, WHEN YOU FALL, MAKE SURE YOU PICK SOMETHING. Make sure you learn a lesson. Make sure you rise stronger. SOMETIMES, SUCCESS IS SIMPLY MOVING FROM FAILURE TO FAILURE WITHOUT LOSING ENTHUSIASM. Have you failed before? Have you made some mistakes? Have you blown your chances with God and in life? Rise up again!

DIVINE OPPORTUNITIES OFTEN COME IN CYCLES. WITH GOD, OPPORTUNITIES LOST ARE NOT ALWAYS LOST FOREVER (Acts 10:9-20). What you missed in your past, God will bring it in your future; don’t cry over it. LEARN THE LESSON. MAKE AMENDS. PREPARE YOURSELF. BUILD CAPACITY. Stay sensitive and be on the look out for what God is bringing next. When you surrender your life to God, He sure knows how to make a masterpiece out of the pieces of your life (Jeremiah 18:4-6). IT IS NOT OVER UNTIL YOU WIN. BE ENCOURAGED!
