Years ago, my father in the Lord taught us about the four moves that every man of destiny must take note of; the move of God, the move of the devil, the move of men, and your own move. Your own move is the most important. When you understand the move of God and position yourself for your own move, you would not be a victim of circumstances.

“And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against” (Luke 2:34). As our nation and the world at large is going through a season of reformation, it is important that you position yourself for what God is doing this season. Year 2020 is a significant year in the history of mankind, it is THE YEAR OF THE LORD.

Don’t only get involved in the moves and activities around you. Ensure that the move of God moves you to your ordained place in destiny; you must not miss out of what God is doing. Even the birth of Jesus was a double edged agenda; it was for the rising and falling of many. Yes, many would rise because of this move, and many would fall (unfortunately, the innocent and unsuspecting too).

One way to position yourself for a rising this season is to operate in the wisdom and discernment of the men of Issachar; these were men who had understanding of the times, that they knew what Israel ought to do (1 Chronicles 12:32). They were not carried away by the protests and the prayers, they understood what was happening and were able to locate themselves in prophecy.

You need to be able to locate yourself in prophecy. Really, year 2020 is not an emergency as some people might think. It is prophecy in manifestation. It is the agenda of God unfolding. I remember what God told us towards the end of 2019 as we fasted and prayed for year 2020; “2020 will be full of crises, you need to know who you believe and where you belong.” The unfolding events have further confirmed this prophecy.

Know that when God is moving, the devil also moves to counterfeit the move of God. This is why those who are not discerning easily fall victim of satanic hijacks (2 Corinthians 2:11). Develop your prayer life, listen to the voice of wisdom, don’t joke with pastoral covering and walk in the highest level of caution and discernment. In all, keep hopes alive and expect the best of the situation. Truly, this is our season. God has come upon us as a people. We rise! Amen!
