I was talking with a young man sometime ago. He’s into business and doing pretty well. But he felt he was not doing well because he was not in ministry like me. He said he envied me. I told him to focus on his enterprise. We will not all be preachers but we will all be relevant to God’s program if we follow Him well.

Friend, God is raising an army these last days. Their strength will be in their focus. Their distinction will come out as they stay on their lane and commit themselves to it without comparison (Joel 2:7). They will march on their own ways, they will not break their ranks.

End time army understand that they are king in their own domain. They know that their success is tied to the preciseness of their location. While they appreciate and celebrate what God is doing with others, ther never downplay on the workings of God in their own life (Galatians 2:8). They take ownership of their place and make a difference there.

You are most effective in the place ordained for you by God. This is why you must be clear about what and where God has called you into (Acts 9:6). You cannot afford to be a jack of all trade and master of none. We don’t just follow what is trending, we follow what has been chosen for us. We can be inspired by what others are doing but it must not make us change our instruction.

You are fitted, equipped and anointed for your place (Proverbs 27:8). As easily as a fish can swim, it becomes demobilized when it attempts to get outside of water. Just as a train is not designed to move on the same road with cars, you cannot ‘compete’ outside your location. Rather than adding grace to your education, find your grace and educate it.

Refuse the temptation of straying from your place (1 Kings 20:40). Stop comparing yourself with others (2 Corinthians 10:12). Stop envying what others are doing or having. Locate yourself in divine purpose and pursue it with focus and commitment. Men of success are men of “one thing” (Philippians 3:13-14). Find that one thing and stay there! You will succeed.
