It was around this time that year when she got an opening that changed the entire year and her life, just like a dream. According to her; “I never knew that God can still come through for me this year. I had prayed, confessed God’s word and remained in faith. When it looked like nothing was happening, then suddenly this!” She had learnt to keep the faith.

Friend, you are not yet a failure until your faith fails. Faith failure is the real failure. If you must succeed, if you must become all that God has ordained for you, if you must finish well and strong, then you must learn to keep the faith (2 Timothy 4:7). The quality and quantity of your life is directly proportional to your faith, for the just shall live by his faith (Habakkuk 2:4).

“…But I have prayed for you, that your faith fails not…” (Luke 22:32). If the devil can succeed in attacking your faith, he has succeeded in attacking your life and destiny. Keeping the faith is a very crucial matter as we wrap up this year. It is not enough to be happy that you would see the end of the year, the condition with which you end the year matters; faithlessness or faith-fullness?

We must intentionally work on our faith and ensure it remains strong in the face of the pressures and challenges of life. Without faith, you don’t stand the chance to fulfil God’s vision for your life or to finish well and strong. There are faithful men who are faithless, unfaithful men who are full of faith. But God wants us to be faithful men full of faith.

It is amazing to see how people who we think or see as unfaithful get stuff from God because they dared to believe God while the faithful or committed still cannot take God by His word. God wants us to be both faithful and full of faith. Our commitment to God must be expressed via our believing and trusting on His ability to fulfil His words and plans for our lives.

Faith without patience is not complete, and patience without faith is a waste of time. We must keep faith with patience (Hebrews 6:12, 10:35-39). Patience is often expressed with three words which are triplets of the same father; patience, endurance and longsuffering. You need patience when dealing with God. You need endurance when dealing with the devil, and you need longsuffering when dealing with people.
