My daughter witnessed a lot of Holy ghost manifestations during our just concluded Church program. So while playing with her elder sister, she was screaming and catching some fun. Trying to calm her down, her mum asked her; “Faith, what’s happening? Stop that.” Her response surprised her mum and I. She said; “It’s not me, it’s the Holy ghost.”

Friend, can you really say that your life is powered by the Holy ghost? What is driving your life is more important than what you are driving or where you are driving to (Luke 4:1, Romans 8:14). Like my daughter, every Christian should be able to say; “It’s not me. It’s the Holy ghost.”

Yes, that business move is the Holy ghost. Starting that relationship is the Holy ghost. Moving to that new location is the Holy ghost. Joining that Church is the Holy ghost. The first assignment of the Holy ghost in your life is leading, not feeding (Psalms 23:1). Most times, we pursue what should be the consequence of the Holy ghost operation in our lives (Galatians 3:5).

Miracles, breakthroughs, growth and the likes are simply products of our yielededness to the Holy ghost (1 Corinthians 12:7). If you get them by any other means, they won’t last. We are not really smart people, we are only people who are led. Our smartness equals zero without His leadership (Isaiah 48:17, 21).

Paul wrapped up His famous epistle to the Corinthians with a prayer of Communion with the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 13:14). This must be an important point. He committed them to the Holy Spirit. He would do beyond what Paul had taught them. That Koinonia will mean intimacy, fellowship, partnership and eventually profiting. We cannot have it better than that.

Aside living by faith and walking in love, how to be led by the Holy Spirit is another very important subject everyone of us must master. Any ministry that can help you grow in intimacy with the Holy Spirit has helped your life more than you can imagine. Don’t you think that Jesus knew what He meant when He called the Holy Spirit our advantage (John 16:7)? You need to take advantage of your advantage today. You will not be stranded. Amen.
