One statement that I have come to appreciate and treasure again and again from my spiritual father is this; “The future does not belong to the man doing it quick but to the man doing it right.” I have proven the truth and validity of this statement in my own life and dealings. Truly, integrity is capital.

Friend, integrity is capital for life and business. Without integrity, life is meaningless. In the economy of heaven, a good name (integrity) is to be chosen ahead of wealth and riches (Proverbs 22:1). Like Billy Graham once said; “When wealth is lost, nothing is lost; when health is lost, something is lost; when character is lost, all is lost.”

Integrity is very crucial in our world today where almost everyone is trying to outsmart others in a bid to make progress in life and destiny. The future does not belong to the man doing it quick but to the man doing it right. Men of integrity are men of the future. When you lose your integrity you lose your relevance in the future without knowing.

Integrity is what keeps you going and flying high when others have fizzled out. It is that which causes people to commit to you and to what you are doing. Also, integrity, not giftedness, is what God looks for when committing to a man and revealing him to his world (Psalms 78:70-72). Make up your mind to take the high road of integrity today and for the rest of your life.

Integrity is being honest and showing a consistent and uncompromising adherence to strong moral and ethical principles and values. Integrity is constancy of character. It is holding unto the right values and virtues irrespective of place, time and situation (Genesis 39:9). It is the inward force that causes you to do what is right and acceptable to God no matter the temptations, distractions and even consequences.

Integrity is when your walk aligns with your talk (2 Corinthians 1:17). It is doing as you say and saying as you do. In life, we would be faced with tests. These tests are to reveal our level of integrity. A man of integrity is tested and trusted. People do not commit to the untested but to the tested. Our strongest motivation for living life with integrity is to honour God and to represent Him correctly.
