I noticed that the car was struggling to move. I had to stop by an auto mechanic for a check. A water hose was broken letting water into the car gear compartment. Water had mixed with oil. It rendered the car ineffective until it was fixed. I understood the danger of mixtures.

Friend, beware of mixtures. It would make you ineffective. If the devil cannot stop you, he would attempt to join you. Like Ephraim, what has joined you and what have you joined (Hosea 4:17)? It was the mixed multitudes who followed the Israelites that became a snare to them in their pursuit of destiny (Exodus 12:38, Numbers 11:4).

The enemy is in the business of corrupting people via mixtures. Now that you can no longer pray the way you used to do. Now that missing Church services has become normal to you. Now that you can now fondle with your bodies in that relationship with the opposite sex without any check. Don’t you think there is a mixture somewhere?

Now that pursuing your career is now being done at the expense of God’s call upon your life. Don’t you think there is a mixture somewhere? It’s time to retrace your steps before you become a victim of life’s battles (Psalms 78:9-10). It’s time to go back to the covenant of your God. It’s time to get back to the Church; your God-ordained destiny family.

The battle may get more intense than this. You need to get your bearing right on time. We have a long way to go this year (2 Samuel 3:1). God has a lot in store for you. You cannot afford to be careless now (Hosea 13:13). You need to redeem the time because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:15-17).

Your destiny is bigger than you can imagine. God’s plan for you is greater than you can grasp. It’s time to get in shape. It’s time to press. It’s time to give life the fight that it requires. It’s the fight of faith. It’s the fight of the covenant. It’s the fight of intimacy with God. God has pronounced your victory; you need to war into it as you walk into it (1 John 5:4). It shall be well with you!
