STAY SPIRITUALLY FIT

Two wrestlers were preparing for a major contest. Before the set date, one secretly attacked his opponent to injure and weaken him. By the day of the contest, the injured wrestler was too weak to fight and lost the contest. His defeat began before the match.

Friend, learn to stay spiritually fit. You need to guard against spiritual attacks. One reason to monitor your spiritual health is because life is a contest of destiny. The devil’s subtle strategy is to injure you before your day of manifestation. That is why you must stay fit and strong in the Lord (Ephesians 6:10).

Watch out for sudden signs of spiritual sickness; prayerlessness, offence, and absence from fellowship. These often signal that a major contest is near. Before the enemy attacks openly, he first weakens your inner strength to resist him (2 Samuel 3:1).

When a major blessing is approaching, be alert about your spiritual health. The enemy wants you to lose sensitivity, so you miss divine signals (Romans 8:14). He wants you to walk in offence instead of love, so you miss the miraculous (Galatians 5:6).

He will also try to drain your passion and drive so you miss divine opportunities (Romans 12:11). While creation eagerly awaits your manifestation, the state in which you step onto the stage of destiny determines how well you finish (Romans 8:19). Take your spiritual health seriously.

Don’t let the devil use your weakness to take you out of life’s battle. Being a Christian is not only about making heaven but also about fulfilling your divine assignment (2 Timothy 4:6-8). You must maintain fitness daily because destiny unfolds daily. You will succeed!
